CC   -!- This enzyme catalyzes the insertion of both atoms of molecular oxygen
CC       into positions 2 and 3 of the phenyl ring of 3-phenylpropanoate.
CC   -!- The product, 3-(cis-5,6-dihydroxycyclohexa-1,3-dien-1-yl)propanoate,
CC       is then converted into 3-(2,3-dihydroxyphenyl)propanoate, by a
CC       dehydrogenase, with the concomitant regeneration of NADH.
